There is so much information on the internet, that some people think that the "paper book" will become passe. I hardly think so. There is nothing like ownership. People like to HAVE. Having a book is a pleasure unto itself. Books are at your finger tips. You can underline, dog ear, flip back and forth in it, mark your place, even highlight whole paragraphs. While you can take a notebook computer to bed, still, there's nothing like curling up with a good book. You can bookmark a site, but finding a page in a book is easier. Plus, you don't have to wait for your kids to get done with their homework to get at the computer so that you go on line. Books about business can provide a quick easy reference when talking to others. Traditional publishing also tends to lend authority to what is quoted. Anyone can publish anything on the internet, but traditional publishers have to answer for it, if quality is lacking. The books listed below have been a great personal benefit.
